Presentation of « ZHENDRE » tent air conditioners

The ZHENDRE tent air conditioners range was designed to comply with the needs of the Armed Forces when their in the field interventions under extreme climatic conditions require the cooling or on the contrary the heating of the tents where the military staffs work or lodge.
Field equipment, meant to be frequently moved and subjected to intense mechanical solicitations, ZHENDRE air conditioners are designed according to technical specifications which take into account the constraints which distinguish them from standard air conditioners destined for fix utilisations.
The outdoor temperatures under which these air conditioners are performing, sometimes neighbouring +55°C, also require a specific design with namely condensation surfaces highly sized and important workflows.
Strengthened by its experience of over half a century in both the Cold Logistics and Air Conditioning areas for extreme conditions, ZHENDRE in collaboration with the technical staff of the French Forces has designed and developed a range of tent air conditioners with cooling capacities scaling from 6 to 23 kW, which ones are being adopted by a still growing number of European Armies.

The basic range is composed of 6 models :

•   The CTZ6H55   5.9 kW
•   The CTZ10H55   10.2 kW
•   The CTZ16H55   16.1 kW
•   The CTZ23H55   22.5 kW
•   The CTZ10AC55   10.2 kW
•   The CTZ10SP55   10.2 kW


The first 4 models are meant to be placed outside the tent and connected to it by means of 2 insulated ducts. The CTZ10AC55 is designed for tents with a separated floor, the air conditioner straddles the rear wall of the tent. The CTZ10SP55 is mainly used on tents intended to protect the personnel from CBRN atmosphere
